- Front Cover $50
At this time, I do covers for any eBook platform, and print books published through CreateSpace. I will do jobs for other platforms, but you will be responsible for getting the appropriate specifications for your platform and communicating that to me.
If your book is for ereaders, I will use the specs for a Kindle version.
- Full Front, Back and Spine for Books Published with CreateSpace $100
For a front and back wraparound, you will need to figure out your page count and sizes for front, back, and spine so the folds will fall correctly on the finished book.
- Black and White Title Page starting at $10
This can compliment your cover design and can include a graphic. All graphic guidelines apply.
Using Stock Artwork
If you do not have a piece of artwork already, I do not charge to hunt around on stock sites to help you find you some. The charge for the stock will be whatever the stock site charges. I like iStock, but I will use others if needed. If you supply the artwork yourself, it’s up to you to make certain it’s the proper dimensions and/or resolution. I am not responsible for client artwork that does not meet resolution requirements and ends up blurry or pixelated or otherwise degraded. Do not take screengrabs or other images off the internet. They are not usable. I am also not responsible for unlicensed client artwork. Do not use images for which you do not own the rights. When in doubt, feel free to ask and I will be happy to help you.
- Using Custom Artwork
If you are working with an artist and have licensed custom artwork you want to use, I can design your graphic around it. I will work with your artist, if need be, at no charge.
If you don’t have art or an artist, and you would rather have all that done for you, I will broker custom artwork for you and be your go-between for a fee of $50. That includes finding some artists whose styles you like, helping you choose one, setting up the deal, and helping as need arises in the creation of the piece. This $50 fee does not include the actual artwork. You will still have to pay the artist whatever the two of you decide. Please be aware that if I am brokering art for you, that the artist must be paid in full before I will proceed with finishing the graphic.
